01/02...Santa Anita Park...Distorted Dave (Distorted Humor), a three-year-old colt bred in Kentucky and racing for Highfield Stock Farm and Stephen Johnson, rallied gamely along the rail to take a maiden special weight event at Santa Anita in his second career start. Distorted Dave is out of the Argentine-bred mare Crazy Ensign, a daughter of Fiery Ensign. The winner covered the five furlongs in 1:03.39.
